BATT INSULATION

The fastest and most cost effective way to insulate areas where walls studs and ceiling joists are exposed. We also recommend an air seal, as many hard to reach penetrations are accessible.

REMOVAL AND AIR SEALING

Insulation should last for the life of the house, but when pests invade your attic space or your renovation involves removing your ceiling, removing your old insulation is a good idea. let us deal with the dirty and labor intense job of cleaning up your attic or crawlspace. An additional benefit of removing the old insulation is the opportunity to seal off air leaks from the living space. Common leak points include top plates, openings for electrical, hvac, and plumbing

SUBFLOORS

Another large surface that is prone to heat loss and air leaks is your subfloor. While insulation in itself won't heat or cool the floor, it will prevent heat from escaping or entering your living space. While we are in the subfloor we can seal any accessible air penetrations and add a vapor barrier to the crawlspace ground.

BLOWN-IN WALLS

By drilling 2" holes across finished walls we can insulate previously uninsulated walls, improving the comfort of your home. For unfinished walls, blown-in can provide a more thorough fill than traditional batt insulation further reducing heat and sound transmission.
